MCT Academy - June 2025

Participate in the fourth and final two-day session of the Mobile Crisis Team Training Academy. This academy delivers training and technical assistance to mobile crisis teams in New Mexico, as well as to provisional Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHC). The training covers a wide range of topics, such as the function of mobile crisis teams in the crisis continuum, intervention assessment, trauma-informed care, risk assessment, motivational interviewing, legal considerations for mobile crisis teams, peer support specialists, engagement with specific populations, verbal de-escalation techniques, safety planning, care coordination, situational awareness, and understanding law enforcement culture.

All subjects are taught by experts who are currently or have previously been involved in MCT services.
